What DescriptorHub collects, and why.
This is a starting template. Have it reviewed before you rely on it, and update it to match the analytics, advertising and hosting services you actually use.
What we collect
- Topic suggestions. The topic text, any notes, and an email address if you choose to give one.
- IP address. Recorded with topic submissions purely to enforce a daily submission limit and block automated abuse.
- Server logs. Standard request logs kept by our host.
What we do with it
Email addresses are used only to tell you when a topic you suggested has been published. We do not sell personal data.
Cookies
We set a session cookie and a CSRF cookie, both required for the site to function and for form submissions to be secure.
Third parties
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives a request from your browser. If advertising or analytics is added later, this section must be updated to name those providers.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Use the contact page.
